Non-Discrimination Policy
Ambleside School of Hernando admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of our educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic or other school-administered programs.
As a Christian school, we joyfully uphold our right and responsibility to operate in accordance with our sincerely held religious beliefs, as expressed in our Statement of Faith and governing documents. Therefore, while we do not discriminate in admissions or educational programs based on race, color, national, or ethnic origin, we do require that all staff, faculty, and students (and, where appropriate, their families) respect and not act in opposition to the school’s faith commitments. These include, but are not limited to, our convictions concerning the authority of Scripture, the nature of salvation in Jesus Christ, the sanctity of human life, and the biblical teaching regarding marriage, gender, and sexuality.
Our goal is to create a learning environment that reflects the love of Christ, promotes academic excellence, and nurtures the spiritual, moral, and social development of every student in partnership with families and the local church.
